In this episode of The Inner Game Podcast, my special guest is Corey Jacobs, founder of Winnergy and senior advisor to Sean "Diddy" Combs, and founder of several charities, including The Gift of Chess and The Buried Alive Project. His upbringing was a sad case of a bright kid who was failed by our educational system who ended up being labeled “a bad kid,” and got caught selling drug. Facing a harsh sentence for a non-violent crime he was determined to both get out of prison and make something of himself, and he used the time in prison to mentally transform himself and make the most of what little he had. He was able to secure a pardon from President Obama and successfully make a transition to a successful entrepreneur, even partnering with Sean “Diddy” Combs and becoming his advisor. He now gives back to the community and has become a beacon of resilience and hope, emphasizing the power of persistence, authenticity, and intentionality in all of life's moves. Watch this episode of the podcast to find out his story.
